In the following paper, a bibliometric and relational analysis had been was carried out on the Universum journal from its date of foundation (1986) to the present (2017). A database had been was prepared with all the publications of the journal (47 issues in 32 years), with a total sample of 765 publications. Bibliometric, collaborative indicators (Subramanyam, Lawani and, coefficient of collaboration) we had been applied, relationships were analyzed, both at the level of countries and Chilean institutions, as well as the participation by sex in the different years. The results show that the largest number of documents are produced by only one author (84 %), and led mainly by male authors (71.3 %). We can see a balance in the number of authors both male and female in the years 2000-2002. The country with the highest production within the journal is Chile, while the institutions that contribute the most and generate collaboration links are the University of Talca, University of Santiago de Chile and the University of Chile. This analysis allows representing the history and tendency of the journal at the level of authors and authors relationships.

 

 

This paper aims to present a bibliometric analysis of the literature on an entrepreneurial intention that considers different topics to enhance starting a business. Using the Core collection of the Web of Science, 1,549 papers are found from 1900 to December 2020 to be analyzed. The analysis is focused on documents, authors, journals, countries, and keywords to detect areas and trends in this field of study. Likewise, bibliographic couplings, co-citation, and co-occurrences are analyzed. Findings show that the field has started to grow since 2010; the most influential authors and universities are in Spain and Taiwan, such as the case of Lilian, Liang, Ip, and Moriano.

 

 

The emergence of new technologies in transport such as Automated Vehicles (AV) has generated a series of studies about their effects on the society. Therefore, this article presents a literature review on AV from the publications of the Web of Science and Scopus databases. A bibliometric analysis was applied, considering the co-occurrence of keywords, bibliographic coupling, co-citation and co-authorship. In general, the results show that two major areas stand out in the research, they are: the technological component related to the development and improvement of AV and the social component related to behavioral aspects of AV acceptability.

 

 

ObjectiveThe aim of this study was to identify and characterize the 100 most cited articles on Parkinson’s disease (PD) and phenolic compounds (PCs). MethodsArticles were selected in the Web of Science Core Collection up to June 2022 based on predetermined inclusion criteria, and the following bibliometric parameters were extracted: the number of citations, title, keywords, authors, year, study design, tested PC and therapeutic target. MapChart was used to create worldwide networks, and VOSviewer software was used to create bibliometric networks. Descriptive statistical analysis was used to identify the most researched PCs and therapeutic targets in PD. ResultsThe most cited article was also the oldest. The most recent article was published in 2020. Asia and China were the continent and the country with the most articles in the list (55 and 29%, respectively). In vitro studies were the most common experimental designs among the 100 most cited articles (46%). The most evaluated PC was epigallocatechin. Oxidative stress was the most studied therapeutic target. ConclusionDespite the demonstrations in laboratorial studies, the results obtained point to the need for clinical studies to better elucidate this association.

 

 

In this paper, it is described the Industry 4.0 influences on maintenance operation through a bibliometric analysis. The current trend is the introduction of 4.0 concepts allied with basic maintenance practices. It has been considered as an important tool to improve the machine availability and equipment reliability. New modern techniques are been used to predict and optimize maintenance processes, in fact it is understood as a strategical activity and a profit contributor to ensure productivity and efficiency in manufacturing systems. With the bibliometric analysis, it is possible to analyze the main trends and the 4.0 tools most related to maintenance operation optimization.

 

 

The Urban Mobility study subsidizes public and private actions that provide sustainable displacement for the fullness of citizenship. The present work aims to conduct a bibliometric study that allows the selection of scientific articles of great relevance, identifying the state of the art on the subject, by searching scientific articles published in journals indexed to the main research bases found in the Periodicos da Coordenacao de Aperfeicoamento de Pessoal de Nivel Superior (CAPES) website using keyword “urban mobility” from 2012 to 2018 in a structured selection process called Knowledge Development Process Constructivist – Proknow C. From a total of 268 papers, 31 most relevant articles were selected on the theme Urban Mobility, whose authors and highlighted journals were classified by bibliometric analysis, concluding that the research related to Urban Mobility is extensive, addressing socioeconomic, environmental, health, productive and quality of life aspects of the population, however, it focuses on a restricted group of researchers and journals.

 

 

BackgroundGlobal demand for food products derived from alternative proteins and produced through sustainable technological routes is increasing. Evaluation of research progress, main trends and developments in the field are valuable to identify evolutionary nuances. MethodsIn this study, a bibliometric analysis and search of patents on alternative proteins from fermentation processes was carried out using the Web of Science and Derwent World Patents Index((TM)) databases, using the keywords and Boolean operators “fermentation” AND “single cell protein” OR “single-cell protein.” The dataset was processed and graphics generated using the bibliometric software VOSviewer and OriginPro 8.1. ResultsThe analysis performed recovered a total of 360 articles, of which 271 were research articles, 49 literature review articles and 40 publications distributed in different categories, such as reprint, proceedings paper, meeting abstract among others. In addition, 397 patents related to the field were identified, with China being the country with the largest number of publications and patents deposits. While this topic is largely interdisciplinary, the majority of work is in the area of Biotechnology Applied Microbiology, which boasts the largest number of publications. The area with the most patent filings is the food sector, with particular emphasis on the fields of biochemistry, beverages, microbiology, enzymology and genetic engineering. Among these patents, 110 are active, with industries or companies being the largest depositors. Keyword analysis revealed that the area of study involving single cell protein has included investigation into types of microorganisms, fermentation, and substrates (showing a strong trend in the use of agro-industrial by-products) as well as optimization of production processes. ConclusionThis bibliometric analysis provided important information, challenges, and trends on this relevant subject.

 

 

Riparian zones (RZs) are transitional environments at the interface between land and freshwater ecosystems, which are important in terms of socioecological services. In this work, we report a bibliometric-based analysis to unveil the knowledge structure and actors of scientific production on riparian zones for the first 20 years of the 21(st) century. We performed a literature search, querying for riparian zones publications for the period 2001-2020. The selected 1171 bibliographic records were analyzed by extracting several bibliometric indices of reporting tendencies, location, collaboration dynamics, and top topics. Results show that RZs publications increased considerably from 2001 to 2020, and top journals publishing on the subject are from the water, environmental management, and ecology areas. The US, China, Brazil, and Canada were the most productive countries, while the institutions with higher productivity were the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Oregon University. In terms of impact, the US, Canada, and Australia led in citation number, while the country collaboration network showed that the strongest links occur between China and the US. Our results also show that few studies were produced in low-middle income countries, which suggests a need to funnel international funding to study riparian environments in these geographical contexts. According to analysis of frequency, top topics are related to water quality and focused on lotic environments. We here present the main knowledge structure of RZs studies globally for the first 20 years of the XXI century.

 

 

With the advancement of electric mobility, critical materials that are used in the batteries and electronic equipment of electric vehicles tend to become scarce. This work aims to analyse the state-of-art of the electric vehicle supply chain through bibliometric and systematic reviews, using quantitative and qualitative indicators, to find critical points that represent risks to the supply chain and that should be focused on and to identify trends for further studies. The bibliometric review was carried out with the support of the Bibliometrix software. The systematic review was performed using the PRISMA method. The bibliometric analysis showed the importance of the costs associated with electric vehicles, as well as trends in studies related to sustainability and transparency in the supply chain. Although risk management in the supply chain appears to be relatively little studied when considering the authors’ keyword analysis, the systematic review showed that this process was the most studied topic. Even so, raw materials supply appeared as the topic most focused on, followed by an environmental impact assessment and cost analysis. There were also studies aiming to achieve competitiveness and analyse ecologically correct practices. The battery was the most studied component, but other components must be analysed in search of greater competitiveness in relation to conventional vehicles.

 

 

Background: To delineate the scientific publications on metal hypersensitivity. Methods: Scopus database from 1946 to 2020, written in English, Spanish, or Portuguese. This is a bibliometric study, with a descriptive and quantitative approach. For data analysis, we used RStudio (R) and VOSviewer (R) and bibliometric packages-bibliometrix and biblioshiny. Results: Of the 804 articles retrieved, most of the publications come from European, Asian, and American countries, with Germany, Japan, and United States leading. Published articles and keywords refer to orthopedic, dermatological, and orthodontic specialties. Conclusion: Scientific production is scarce with slight oscillations in the studied period, authored predominantly by researchers in North America and Europe. Articles were mostly published in scientific journals in the fields of dermatology, dentistry, and orthopedics, which indicated the need for greater investments in the research development on the topic.
