Bibliometric analysis in publications related to logistics and urban mobility in the Smart City context

Resumen

This study seeks to present how the dimensions of logistics and urban mobility in the context of smart city have been addressed. For this, a literature review was carried out through a bibliometric analysis in scientific productions in the web of science database, with a quantitative analysis of the data, followed by a content analysis. A total of 572 international articles were used in the period between 2007 and 2017. The main results indicate a growth in smart city-related publications related to logistics and urban mobility from 2015 onwards with 114 publications, being more evident in 2016 with 212 publications. The analysis also revealed that many of the articles identified are strongly associated with aspects of urban mobility and sustainability, and little about the essence of logistics, identifying a scientific gap for the development of future research associated with smart city approaches and logistics.
