Use of Corporate and Consumer Knowledge in Product Development: Bibliometric and Systemic Analysis

Resumen

Companies need to be agile to face today’s market competition, as well as the demand for new products from consumers. In this context, product development can benefit from corporate knowledge and consumer knowledge to reduce the time to launch new products. This article review study seeks to locate studies related to this subject, as well as opportunities for new research. To this end, the ProKnow-C process was used to select a bibliographic portfolio and conduct bibliometric analysis and systemic analysis. In the first stage, 23 articles were selected. They were analyzed quantitatively to identify the most important studies, authors and journals. In the systemic analysis the articles were evaluated in order to identify gaps in the research related to the topic.
